- Research Interests
- Dr. Yoo is working in surgical pathology, mainly in gynecologic malignancy, including uterine cancers and ovarian cancers. He is also involved in oral and sinonasal tumor pathology. In research field, his main concerns are in the HPV detection and phenotyping in uterine cervical and oral cancers. Dr. Yoo is also interested in subclassification of ovarian epithelial tumors and peritoneal tumors, including pseudomyxoma peritonei. He is also interested in cytopathology of gynecologic area and cavity fluids. Dr. Yoo is also participating for the various national projects about cancer screening and cancer registration.
