- Research Interests
- In 2012, Dr. Cho has joined the New Experimental Therapeutics (NExT) Branch at National Cancer Center, South Korea and served as associate scientist. Her research interest focuses on design, synthesis, and characterization of nano/micro particles, carbon nanotubes, conducting polymer thin film-type electrodes with an alternation in micro- and nano-structural features, and their application to medically useful models including biosensor, cell/tissue engineering, drug delivery system, and microfluidics for cell-based assay. The highly interdisciplinary research offers a broad perspective in chemistry, material, biomedical engineering, and medical science, and is ultimately aimed at correlating with basic and clinical applications to improve existing approaches for the early detection and treatment of cancer.
